During the war, we also paid attention to medical care for children by purchasing infusion syringe pumps worth UAH 541,625, which are now used on a daily basis to help young patients recover in the intensive care unit of the country's largest children's hospital, Okhmatdyt. The brand has also donated UAH 1 million to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in April 2023 raised $12,920 for prosthetics for Ukrainians.
Given the difficult circumstances in which these women are recovering, Sleeper aims to provide them with a tangible reminder of the femininity and beauty they bring to the world.
In addition to producing clothing, the Red Seam initiative supplies medical underwear to rehabilitation facilities established after the war. The first organization to benefit from the foundation's support was the Kyiv Military Hospital.
The Sleeper Foundation is committed to creating positive change in the world of fashion, and the “Red Seam” is an inspiring step in this direction.
Since 2016, the brand has been supporting World Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Supporting the initiative is extremely important for the Sleeper team, where the majority of employees are women
Until 2019, Sleeper donated funds to support the rehabilitation program for women after chemotherapy from the Women's Health and Family Planning Charity Foundation. Since 2019, the brand has been donating funds for targeted assistance to women with cancer to the Ukrainian charity foundation Kvitna, which is engaged in awareness-raising activities and provides targeted support to women fighting the disease. The brand also creates educational videos that draw attention to such important topics as monthly breast self-examination, myths about breast cancer, and more.
In October 2022, Sleeper raised $26,200 for targeted assistance to women with cancer. Throughout the history of cooperation with the Kvitna Foundation, the brand has made a donation of $52,510.
Over the years, the brand's charitable projects have been supported by celebrities from around the world, including Kristen Bell, Sophia Bush, Kelly Rutherford, Sophie Amoruso, and more.
In April 2020 and 2021, the brand joined the global initiative for Autism Awareness Day and donated funds to support Happy Today, a non-profit public organization that focuses on supporting autism education projects. Throughout its history, the brand has donated more than $58,000 to the project.
